Walking the Talk's Taylor Assessment is unique — the only psychometric that measures how an individual contributes to organizational culture. 30 behaviors, 6 archetypes. I redesigned the experience for a digital-first world while preserving the psychometric rigor that makes the tool credible. Press-released globally in January 2024.

The Taylor Assessment is the only psychometric in the market measuring culture contribution — 30 behaviors across 6 archetypes (Achievement, Customer-Centric, One Team, Innovative, People First, Greater Good). But the existing tool was built for a pre-digital world. Long form pages, minimal feedback, results that required expert interpretation.
In a world where leaders expect Spotify-level UX, it needed to meet modern expectations — without compromising the rigor that made it credible. You can't optimize UX at the expense of assessment accuracy.
I worked closely with Walking the Talk's psychometric experts and the Psynet platform team. Every question's presentation, ordering, and response mechanism had been calibrated over years of research — those elements couldn't change. Within that constraint, there was significant room to improve: visual design, progress feedback, transition animations, results presentation, overall flow.
I designed the assessment as a journey, not a form. Each section — corresponding to a culture archetype — had its own visual identity within a cohesive whole. Progress was communicated through explicit indicators and subtle visual cues. Transitions between sections felt like moving through chapters of a story about yourself.

The redesign thesis
A 30-minute experience that feels like personal discovery rather than form-filling. The results experience was completely reimagined — visual culture-contribution profiles readable in a glance, while still providing the depth that coaches and consultants needed. Team and organization-level views aggregate individual data into culture heat maps that reveal patterns invisible at the individual level.
The redesigned Taylor Assessment was press-released globally in January 2024 and adopted by multinationals and government agencies. It proved that psychometric rigor and modern UX aren't in conflict — they're complementary.
